Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Engineer to join our team in Woking within the automotive sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values ofAccountability, Integrity and Service.
Your new role:
As a Supply Chain Quality Engineer, you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the automotive industry.
As aSupply Chain Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide leadership for assigned Suppliers to deliver the supplier quality, capacity and timing requirements
- Establish and maintain control of the supply base part quality and part availability in support of the business objectives
- Develop strategic supply base improvement initiatives, that underpin the continuous improvement ethos
- Work closely with the supplier, to ensure their Management Team are fully supporting quality and capacity requirements.

Experience required:
- Experience of leading suppliers through APQP
- Have an excellent understanding of: PPAP, MSA, APQP, FMEA, SPC,
- Demonstrated structured approach to Problem Solving (8D)
- Must have previous experience in supplier quality assurance, including multiple new model launches.
Qualifications required:
Bachelor’s level degree or higher in an engineering discipline.

Salary: £28,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
