Salary: Competitive dependant on experience, bonus, pension and other benefits

The role is expected to be a full-time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible/part-time approach where possible.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding teams across Sizewell C (SZC) & Hinkley Point C (HPC) and work on some of the most exciting projects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join EDF and be part of our mission in helping Britain achieve net zero. HPC & SZC are mega infrastructure Nuclear New Build projects where each, when completed, will provide low carbon electricity for 6 million homes for 60 years in the UK. The SZC project has obtained planning approval and is seeking financing with a view to start construction in 2024, whilst HPC is currently under construction.

Our Commercial and Supply Chain teams are looking to recruit across a broad range of roles from Commercial/Supply Chain Assistants, Managers, Senior Managers and Leads in support of the two projects, as they enter critical phases, across a number of our delivery programmes.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

The Role

You’ll be part of a team responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the commercial contracts in support of the various programme of works required to ensure the successful delivery of the SZC & HPC projects. Working with multi discipline teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the project, you’ll be managing the performance, continuous improvement, risk management and change and claim management across contracts.

The Skills

You will need effective commercial / contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies, demonstrating a track record of administering and managing successful contracts.

You’ll be motivated, self-starting and pragmatic with the ability to work across multiple discipline teams in driving the development, implementation and operation of commercial strategies and contractual agreements. You’ll also understand the bigger picture and be able to develop and execute innovative approaches to commercial delivery, for the benefit of the project.

If the above sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!

A full job description is available on application.
