Hours: 40 per week worked 9 to 5 with 30 minutes for lunch

With that in mind, now is a pivotal moment for the brand as we look to supercharge our growth and become laser focused in achieving our ambitious goal of reaching £250million in revenue.

Due to an internal restructure, we are now looking for a highly experienced Supply Chain & Operations Director to join our business. This role, whilst challenging will be incredibly rewarding for the right candidate. You will be joining the business as we embark on our largest warehouse transformation project to date whilst we also rapidly increase our global distribution across multiple channels to align with our growth plans.

Alongside leading the development and implementation of the supply chain & operational strategy which will profitably support and future proof the exceptional growth plans, you will also lead a team that delivers on the day-to-day business operations across procurement, demand planning, warehouse order fulfilment and stock management.

  • About the Role:

Refresh and update the current functions pertaining to our global supply chain (freight forwarders, carriers, plus any additional domestic partners) and implement improved processes and where necessary systems and partners to address our evolving business requirements

  • Oversee routine operational reviews that cascade through the organization to all levels enabling rapid escalation of issues for resolution and improved performance.
  • Promote and develop tight integration between NPD, Marketing, Commercial Planning and Logistics to optimise performance in achieving OTIF metrics for all new launches
  • Oversee the Head of Warehouse Operations to ensure capacity and capability plans for staffing levels are timely, cost & operationally effective and support customer experience requirements.
  • Working closely with Head of Warehouse Operations continually monitor warehouse productivity and ensure it is designed and staffed properly in line with future requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value-added service.
  • In collaboration with our Systems Director, guide the operations system strategy and development for supply chain operations, including onboarding of a new WMS; ERP system integration and creation of a robust stock forecasting and order fulfilment tool.
  • Close collaboration between Head of Commercial Planning to ensure that the demand plan is accurate against trading performance.
  • Achieve all agreed KPI’s and metrics in relation to customer service & experience (OTIF, Order accuracy, refunds & QC), business processes (order fill rate, forecast accuracy, stock management) and finance (OTB, Freight, opex)

  • Highly organized & flexible, able to lead the team to achieve tight deadlines, allocating work and keeping on top of multiple projects and being prepared to flex at short notice to meet the needs of the business all with a calm and positive attitude
  • Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating sound commercial arguments
  • A strong communicator. At ease managing upwards and across a team at varying levels of experience, with integrity, energy, and enthusiasm; able to motivate, inspire and lead resources in a collaborative way
  • A natural problem solver, focused, self-motivated and forward thinking. You will be analytical and logical in your thought process
  • Calm within a busy environment. You will be able to prioritise and adapt, multi-task effectively, juggle numerous projects and switch planning where required due to the reactive nature of the business
  • Dynamic, proactive, assertive, and autonomous with an enthusiastic, positive outlook, e.g., willingness to accept new responsibilities in a growing market
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with others to achieve goals

Key Competencies:

Whilst not essential, the successful candidate will preferably have experience of working within the beauty or wellness industry and come from an FMCG background. What is essential, is that you have demonstrable experience of working with an owned warehouse as well as 3PL. And, it goes without saying that you will have strong working knowledge of supply chain management principles, WMS, operational productivity, demand planning and international freight forwarding.
