Role: Supply Chain Manager
Hours: Full-time (Weekdays)
Location: Dundas, ON
The Supply Chain Manager ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of Worksite Safety's warehousing and inventory management, order fulfillment operation, retail stock, vendor relationships, delivery schedules, training centre supplies. The Supply Chain Manager reports to the Director of Operations and collaborates directly with the Marketing team to plan and manage stock and new product launch scheduling. They will work closely with their team to develop processes and ensure that all individuals have the information and supplies needed to effectively perform their roles at any given time.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a supply chain strategy
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records, and monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Establish partnerships with new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
- Assist with planning, organizing and performing quarterly and year end inventory counts
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes and resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
You’ll be a perfect fit for this positive, energetic team if you have:
- Inventory management experience
- Experience developing productive and profitable relationships with vendors
- Experience manipulating data and building reports to determine trends and make recommendations
- Experience training, coaching and organizing teams to achieve a goal in a timely manner
- G class driver’s licence, minimum, and a clear driving record
- Ability to lift weights of up to 35kg when needed
- Experience completing detailed instructions and tasks with accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast, dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive and Gmail
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to receive both verbal and written instruction
