About the Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time position based out of our office in Mississauga, Ontario. Our organization has adapted a hybrid working model so in this role you will have flexibility to work from home. Reporting to the
Vice President of Technical Operations and Supply, you will manage the end-to-end supply chain management process for our products. You will be accountable for ensuring that our products are manufactured and delivered on-time, in the right quantities’ and at the right cost. You will achieve this goal through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize the supply chain and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives that optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products that are in line with forecast and budget.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Finance, and 3PL Distribution depot to generate Demand
Plans and re-order patterns for inventory finished products (i.e. - Master Planning Function)

Supply Chain Manager
- Prompt and oversee Purchase Orders
- Manage Product Distribution (via 3PL distributors)
- Liaise with Finance to create and finalize master forecasts, cost of goods roll-ups, audit support, PO transactions, etc.
- Manage Planning and Supply for Export Products
- Manage monthly Sales and Operations Planning Meeting
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics and KPIs, and develop action plans to address issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to supply chain management, including health and drug authority regulations such as FDA, HC, EMA
- Inventory Management (based on risk mitigation, costs (current and forecasts), delivery reliability, obsolescence)
- Supplier-Relationship Management (prioritizing Tier 1 suppliers)
- Co-ordination of US Customs activities (into / out of USA)
- Recommend and ensures process efficiencies within the supply chain function.
- Special Projects (i.e. ERP implementation) as required
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Supply Chain Accreditation required
- 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management; preferably in the pharmaceutical or adjacent industry (regulated and consumer goods)
- Pharmaceutical cGMP experience preferred (or consumer goods experience also useful)
- Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, regulations, and best practices
- The following competencies are critical for this role: customer focus, ensures accountability, drives results, collaborates, communicates, decision quality, business insight, manages ambiguity, plans and aligns, optimizes processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented
- Fluent with common software programs, especially spreadsheets, and ERP programs
- Hands-on, roll up your sleeves approach, self-reliant
- Is approachable, and builds rapport with colleagues and key partners
- You are legally eligible for work in Canada and are located in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario
