A growing food manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager role, based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. You will play a key role in the business, translating the sales forecast into a demand plan, and also manage logistics to customers.
Commutable from: Oxford, Oxfordshire, Chalgrove, Aylesbury, Haddenham, Maidenhead, Wallingford
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per year
Plus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, pension contribution and other company benefits

The Role
Ensure the business has the right stock in the right place and time
Translate the sales forecast into a demand plan
Manage shelf life and logistics to minimise wastage
Process customer orders and arrange logistics
Be the customers main supply chain contact
Work closely with customers on orders, deliveries and forecasts
Run reports and analyse the true cost of logistics, making sure we stay within budget
Manage one direct report in the supply chain team
The Candidate
Will have 5+ years experience within a supply chain function, ideally within the FMCG industry
Have working knowledge of stock control, demand planning, inventory levels and logistics management
You will be a strong Excel user, able to create and analyse reports
Have excellent customer service and communication skills
An ambitious person who is eager to develop and grow with a food challenger brand!
You will live a commutable distance from Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Previous food & beverage manufacturing experience, within a planning role
