Supply Chain Manager

Contract Length: 9 Months

Location: Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Glasgow – 2/3 days on site per week

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a 9-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day supply chain performance and relationship management of hard facilities management and lift services contracts across multiple locations. You will be driving innovation and changes within the industry, implementing continuous improvement programmes with strategic suppliers and developing risk management strategies and processes.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be able to work on multiple complex projects and deliver projects to plans while developing reports. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority. You will understand and comply with real estate and related statutory, regulatory and professional requirements, as well as have a proven ability to articulate data and forecasts to stakeholders with commercial acumen.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Significant experience in day-to-day supply chain performance and relationship management
  • Operational experience of working with hard facilities management and lift services contracts and with a range of suppliers
  • Ability to work on multiple complex projects across multiple locations, delivering projects to plans and developing reports
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority, engaging and collaborating to build effective networks in order to deliver goals and objectives
  • Understanding and complying with Real Estate and related Statutory, Regulatory and Professional requirements
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of “Continuous Improvement Programme” implementation with Strategic Suppliers
  • Knowledge of Supplier and Customer Relationship Management tools and techniques and their application
  • Knowledge and implementation of risk management strategies and processes
  • Demonstrable experience of excellent senior client relationships and ability to build effective relationships
  • Proven ability in articulating data and forecasts to stakeholders with commercial acumen

Salary: £500.00-£650.00 per day
