The Role

A two year program designed to provide first-hand experience of leading people within Supply Chain and Distribution, project management and essential knowledge of our business operation.

Salary: £28,000 p/a

The Team

In Supply Chain, we’re the all-important link between the Group’s commercial teams and customers. We look after the movement of all products from our carefully selected suppliers through our distribution networks until they land in our customers’ homes. Everything we do is focused on helping the Group become the global leader in e-commerce fashion. Think innovation, plenty of problem-solving and cutting-edge engineering.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner internally with key distribution functions and encouraged to take active part in achieving objectives and operational goals according to the business needs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within our Distribution Centres and wider organisation
  • Provide analytical support to the Supply Chain team to optimise processes
  • Evaluate existing Supply Chain processes and recommend improvements
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality product delivery
  • Participate in meetings to review business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc request as needed
  • Work with appropriate departments to provide solutions to operational issues taking into the account appropriate policies and ethical practice.
  • Attend regular progress meetings with Program Leads/Buddies to ensure project work is on track

More about you

  • Knowledge of MS Office programs as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Predicted a 2:1 bachelors or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field
  • Relevant internship or work experience in Supply Chain or similar field
  • Ability to analyse data and solve problems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment, but also self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Available to start October 2023
  • Looking to purse a career within Supply Chain Leadership
  • Degree completion within the past 2 years
  • Motivated to pursue further study within a related field
  • Ability to communicate clearly and develop relationships with stakeholders across various areas of the business
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate and present data to produce meaningful information
  • Driven to deliver in a fast paced, dynamic environment with constantly evolving challenges
  • Demonstrates initiative and can demonstrate learning from experience
  • Flexible to move across the Distribution Centres (Burnley, Sheffield, Daventry) dependant on department
