Hosts are the face of our restaurant; our hosts are responsible for delivering exceptional service and welcoming each and every one of our guests to our restaurants like it’s their home.
Duties:
- Welcoming and seating our guests at their tables providing the correct menus
- Building and maintaining rapport with our guests where appropriate
- Complete the restaurant table layout
- Confirming reservations via telephone, online, email and walk-in
- Communicating with managers, front of house and kitchen colleagues
- Work as a team to prepare table plans to ensure maximum turnover
- Monitor and control the table rotation to achieve a smooth flowing service within our busy environment
- Having the ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- Taking guest feedback
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor/organise waiting lists
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area at all time
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Answering on a regular basis all e-mail enquiries including Events bookings
- Greet customers upon their departure with a warm smile
