Overall Job Purpose
- Support supply chain & logistics manager (SCLM) with administrative tasks.
- Assist in end to end logistics of manufactured products.
- Help to ensure the day to day supply chain processes run smoothly.
- Help maintain relationships with all suppliers.
- Keep all supplier data clear and organised and up to date.
- Support SCLM in any ad hoc work related to supply chain, logistics and procurement.
- Work closely with the customer service, marketing and finance departments to ensure the products are available in a timely manner.
- Develop knowledge in supply chain to advance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and follow purchase orders for stock and service items.
- Keep purchase order ETD’s and ETA’s up to date during production and once they have origin.
- Assist SCLM resolve any production and delivery delays.
- Check and confirm all supplier invoices.
- Sending commercial invoices to freight forwarders and communicating the relevant commodity codes to be used.
- Validate duty charged and commodity codes on overseas shipments.
- Keep the 3rd party warehouse informed of incoming deliveries and helping prioritise container unloading.
- Inbounding purchase orders on stock management system and dealing with any minor inbound issues.
- Check and report any delivery discrepancies.
- Communicate any invoice and/or delivery shortages/over deliveries to the SCLM.
- Support finance department to make timely and correct payments to suppliers.
- Liaise with other departments and warehouse on product availability and quality issues.
- Update and maintain internal systems including product data, supplier details, certificates and pricing.
- Assisting in product sourcing, quotations, and new product developments.
- Assisting in weekly stock reconciliation between the company’s stock management system and 3rd party warehouse system.
- Develop close working relationship with suppliers and warehouse.
- Work closely with all departments and identify process improvements.
- Any other relevant duties which may be required to ensure the continuous development of the business and strategy.
- The role responsibilities will be subject to change as required to completed tasks required by the business.
Experience Requirements
- Warehouse, freight management, import/export.
- Experience or keen interest in supply chain.
- Purchase order management desirable.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in any discipline.
Knowledge/Skills
- Stock level management & demand planning.
- Freight management & global logistics.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel & Word.
- Maintain and improve key supplier relationships & performance.
- Negotiation skills.
- Effective liaison with internal team & external stakeholders.
- Arranging product and factory QC inspections.
- Ensuring product compliance.
- Troubleshooting, problem solving.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
