We have an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement & Supply Chain team, you will work closely with the Senior Supply Chain Manager to support building a responsible supply chain, enhance Colas Supply chain capability and improve performance, practice, and behaviours to drive internally & externally continuous and sustainable improvement to achieve the Colas KPI outcomes and carbon reduction plan.
The role requires a collaborative approach, working with our supply chain and delivering tangible added value to all parties.
We are looking for a confident person who has strong customer service and communication skills with a good understanding of IT systems, who will ensure supplier interactions are centrally recorded and interdependencies across the wider supply chain are fully mapped.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be managing supply chain on-boarding, ensuring processes are followed and compliance is achieved consistently whilst interpreting Supply chain data and provide results in a clear and concise way. You will be maintaining Supply chain approved list, including SMEs and Social enterprises and maintaining a list of potential Supply chain. You will be supporting the planning and organisation of Meet the Buyer (MtB) events, including support to run the events (please note travel may require) and supporting Senior Supply Chain Manager with Supply chain comms, whilst administrating the Supply chain management system.
The Ideal CandidateThe role holder must be able to demonstrate that they have the following personal, interpersonal, professional practice and business skills. You will have excellent communication skills are essential and excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be detail orientated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and be an independent worker with high degree of professionalism. You will be customer focused and be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal skills as well as having the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
