James Latham are one of the UK's largest independent trade distributors of timber, panels and decorative surfaces and we currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our established Supply Chain Team in Brasted, Kent, working in the Panels side of our business on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be required to develop and execute our supply chain development plan, including stock management to meet the Groups growth expectations. They must have prior experience working in Supply Chain as well as be highly motivated and enthusiastic. They will show good planning skills, attention to detail and have strong communication skills. They will also have a great team ethic and be able to offer a vision for the future strategies of the Panel business.
This role will involve duties such as inputting and tracking purchase contracts, tracking shipments and container arrivals, processing shipping documents, monitoring invoices, maintaining internal systems and assisting with stock control. You will support members of the immediate team as and when required and liaise with other internal departments.
This role is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave and is expected to be for up to 13 months from 1st April 2023.
