Position Description:
This is a great opportunity to join a busy Supply Chain team to gain a broad knowledge of the supply chain areas (Purchasing, Dispatch, Stores, Inventory and Logistics)
Training will be provided, both on the job and via external training courses, so no previous experience is required.
Key responsibilities
· Help maintain the ERP system for the department
· Liaising with external suppliers.
· Liaising with internal teams.
· Help maintain training records for the department.
· Help maintain work instructions for the department
· React to change in work area as per requirement of the business
· Ensure the working environment is safe, and report any Health and Safety concerns to your line manager or the QA & HSE Manager.
· Adopt a culture of continuous improvement (Using Lean5S Methods, training provided)
· Be a team player
· Be flexible and be willing to involve yourself in other tasks as seen to be appropriate by the company.
