We are looking for a candidate who can work flexibly across a few projects at a time, communicate well with stakeholders and enjoys analysis.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Government of Jersey’s Procurement and Commercial functions deliver value for money through informed decision making based on the findings of the role holder.
In this role you will regularly use PowerBi and Excel to support specific Procurement projects, interrogating the data to help those teams make decisions as well using your analytic skills in other projects and initiatives across Commercial Services.
You will need to be a strong communicator, both written and verbally, with the ability to convey key information in a variety of digestible formats, providing delivery timescales and using strong stakeholder management skills to communicate these. Our goal is to prepare enriching supporting data, which will provide intelligence to procurement staff and on occasion senior leaders. This will also involve organising your own time and lining up future projects and work while others are currently in flight.
Key systems used are Excel, PowerBi and on occasion other Office365 applications such as forms and lists.
A competent understanding of excel is required, though training on PowerBi can be delivered in house if required.
The team is based on the 3rd floor of 19-21 Broad Street, operating flexibly around core hours with blended work from home and office time as required.
