The Supply Chain Analyst role is based within our Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) business unit
Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, with our largest site being Lakeside in Portsmouth, but we operate from multiple sites around the world. BCS supplies and operates all IT, security, procurement, and finance Shared Services. We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships that support delivery to our customers. We drive standardisation, simplification, and automation across Babcock, to help generate sustainable value for the group and our external customers
The role
The difference our new Supply Chain Analyst will make
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will add to a successful team with UK and International responsibilities for delivering reporting & analytical solutions across the Procurement Function. This presents an excellent career development opportunity.
Day to day, you’ll liaise with different departments and stakeholders to collate data, compile, and publish reports; including turning information via visualisation to ensure engagement and insight. You’ll develop and set up management information platforms. And you will support training of dashboards/analytical tools and identify improvement opportunities.

Essential experience
- Advanced use of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages. Other use of analytical tools such as Power BI & QlikView is advantageous.
- Experience in complex reporting and compliance checks.
- Being able to effectively communicate at all levels, including compiling and delivering training.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
