The role is to perform day-to-day transactional processing of EU Import Customs declarations, including reviewing requests for import clearance to ensure all information is complete, sending authorisation instructions to either JLR's nominated agent or suppliers' UK agent to ensure timely processing of shipments, ensuring all import declaration information is obtained once goods cross the border, performing SDI uploads into SAP and ensuring all month-end activity is complete on time in line with HMRC deadlines. This role is on a two-shift pattern basis (Mornings and afternoons on weekly rotation). Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Mornings 6:00-14:30 / Afternoons 13:30-22:00 You responsibilities will include: Reviewing import clearance requests to ensure all required information is included Ensuring import documentation is retained in line with data retention requirements Sending authorisation clearance instructions to either JLR's nominated agent or suppliers' UK agents in a timely manner to minimise impact to stakeholders Obtaining all entries information in the month the goods have crossed the border Resolving SAP GTS errors for EU Imports to ensure they accurately processed into CDS Completion of FSD report prior to month-end deadline for HMRC Being a primary contact for suppliers, JLR internal stakeholders and UK agents and answering queries accurately WHAT YOU'LL NEED Ability to effectively interpret and communicate base data and input into JLR systems High level of attention to detail to ensure no mistakes made when processing data Continuous process improvement mindset Problem solving Good communication skills SO WHY US?
