DESCRIPTION
Morgan Stanley seeks a Supervisory Analyst / Japanese-to-English translator to expand its editorial capacity in the UK time zone servicing Japan Equity Research, as part of the Morgan Stanley-MUFG “Alliance 2.0” initiative. In this role, you will work with Japan editorial colleagues based in multiple regions, and directly support Japan Research analysts to translate, review, and publish a variety of Research products.

What will you be doing?
Review English reports (Company/Industry, Economics, Strategy) by Japan Research analysts as Supervisory Analyst & editor.
Translate Japanese language reports into English.
Work with editorial colleagues – both English & Japanese editors – to manage the Japan Research workflow and publish reports in both Japanese & English.
Communicate effectively with Japan analyst teams for smooth publication of reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for:
Experience in financial industry (preferably in Research)
Series 16 holder (preferably).
Experience translating Research reports from Japanese to English.
Organised & detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task and meet challenging deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Good team player.
Advanced Japanese language skills are essential.
