Shop Supervisor Job Description - Delicatessen Store:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our Delicatessen Store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead employees to ensure efficient and effective store operations
- Ensure all food products are prepared and served according to food safety regulations and standards
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including monitoring and restocking inventory
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the owners to plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales
- Provide training and support to employees to help them develop their skills and reach their potential
- Attend team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Maintain a strong knowledge of products and services offered by the store
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Ability to lead and motivate employees
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Passion for food and customer service
This is a full-time position, the store opening hours are Wednesday until Saturday 09.30 AM- 17.30 PM Sunday 10.00 AM -17.00 PM. and bank holiday Mondays we are opened as well.
