Supervisor – P02 + 7.5% shift allowance

Repairs and Investment is looking to recruit Supervisor, to join their busy Strategic - Capital Investment Team.
Job Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor the progress of contractors, keep accurate records of contracts and to write reports on progress.
- Identifying good quality and defective work/ materials and take appropriate action to rectify deficiencies
- Ensuring project and financial performance are within budget and on programme on projects
- Prepare briefs, drawings, specifications and schedules
- Monitor works in accordance with Construction Health & Safety legislation and take appropriate action to rectify bad practice.
- Assist relevant staff / teams on your discipline issues,
- Liaising with the Team Manager to ensure all projects are run in accordance with the committed programme
- Ensuring Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives are met
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with all interested parties on the projects
Your key role is to ensure that the standard of work on all Capital Schemes and Programmes are delivered to the highest standard, and in accordance to the contract and provide value for money to the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The successful candidates will possess significant, proven knowledge of domestic building construction. They will have a methodical approach to their work and have a customer-focused attitude.
