We’re looking for an enthusiastic Shift Supervisor, to join the team at our Leeds laser tag venue situated in Cardigan Fields Leisure Park.
We’d love to work with someone who is passionate about people, customer focussed and diligent in safety and day-to-day tasks/procedures. The successful candidate will need to be a conscientious people-person, with a genuinely positive attitude and the ability to lead and motivate a small team. The ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot is essential.
Headline responsibilities include
- Operations: On-shift responsibility for guest satisfaction, safety of staff and visitors and day-to-day operating procedures/processes.
- People: Lead by example to coordinate and motivate those working on-shift and help to deliver training to team members. Provide first-class customer service and be able to resolve issues and customer complaints.
- Admin & finance: Various cash handling, stock-management and reporting tasks.

- Confident and authoritative with the ability to deal with children, parents, general public and other staff
- Flexible attitude to working requirements to meet the needs of LaserZone, both in shift patterns and in the varying needs of the business

The business operates Monday to Sunday and any prospective candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends. There may be an element of flexibility to shifts which can be discussed following successful application.
This role requires that employees must be able to recognise and deal with emergency situations, including staying calm under pressure. They must be able to work with flashing lights eg. strobe lighting, artificial smoke, a labyrinth/maze like environment, steep gradient ramps and walkways, low level lighting and recognise various alerts and alarms.
