About the Opportunity
As supervisor you are responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. They will be well-versed in processes under the role’s responsibility and will be results-driven and focused;
The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship in - examples below:
- Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Pipefitting.
- Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Mechanical.
- Maintaining Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Mechanical.
- Engineering Construction Maintenance – Mechanical.
- Fabricating Engineering Construction Steel Structures – Plating.
- Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Plating and enrolment onto ILM Level 3 Award C&BE plus completion of Nuclear Unit.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner.
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to ensure work scope is completed in a safe and controlled manner.
