Supervisor responsibilities and duties
Co-ordinate with the venue support team to prepare weekly schedules for bartender, bar-backup and server staff to adequately cover all shifts. Deal with employee absence and adjust staffing as necessary to meet business demands.
Monitor drink stock to ensure adequate stock is maintained and to prevent excess pours or abuse by staff.
Oversee cleanliness of staff and physical bar area, paying special attention to possible health hazards and H/S violations.
Review sales and beverage costs, reconciling any discrepancies in cashing-up. Ensure correct cash management procedures.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure quality service.
CSS skills and training required
Proficiency with point-of-sale software.
Extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Knowledge of regulations related to alcohol service and H/S compliance.
Competency in resource management and inventory control.
Customer service focus.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, personnel management, and marketing with a sport interest
Specific project responsibilities as required.

Salary: £10.75-£13.00 per hour
