Our busy maintenance team carry out repairs on around 30,000 customer homes within the Coventry, Birmingham & Worcester area.
As Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of experienced Trade Engineers and Contractors carrying out domestic works in a social housing setting.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Supervisor (Maintenance)
will involve:
To manage the delivery of high quality voids, reactive repairs or planned works, through an assigned team of engineers and appropriate resources.
- Having Excellent Communication skills. Able to work as part of a team.
- Staff management including motivation, performance reviews, disciplinary and grievance matters
As a supervisor we need you to have:
- Proven experience in a similar position within the social housing sector or construction sector
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and good practice, and experience of applying this knowledge in a repairs and maintenance setting.
- Experience of undertaking detailed technical inspections of buildings and documenting findings
- Decisive, capable and balanced in dealing with a wide range of day-to-day operational issues, decisions and pressures.
- Full driving licence required

- A working knowledge and understanding of ICT systems relevant to the business, including Microsoft Office.
