Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance. Our main purpose is to support and grow a strong, vibrant, and accessible voluntary sector which both influences as well as supports delivery of key services to improve outcomes for residents in Sunderland.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team and work to support the voluntary and community sector across the city.
We offer flexible working with a combination of home and office-based arrangements.
Alliance Development Worker x 4
37 hours per week
Salary: £28,000-£30,000
2 year fixed term contract with potential for extension pending additional funding.
Main Duties
As an Alliance Development Worker you will work as part of a small busy team. The postholder will provide support to the voluntary community and social enterprise sector across the city. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities. A strong customer focus with good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
