We’re looking for an enthusiastic Legal Intern to join our Legal Affairs department for the summer. We are a mighty group of over 100 employees supporting and guiding the Spotify organization in how to use the law to advance business interests, protect our company’s rights, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. You’ll help us on our mission to balance legal exposure and business opportunity, make sure we have necessary legal rights to content, and enable Spotify to build products and services that users love and trust while protecting our reputation and values.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with lawyers across the Legal Affairs department to provide support on key legal matters.
- Assist in drafting agreements, deal summaries, research memos, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research.
Who you are
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related field of study at a UK university, and you’re scheduled to graduate in 2024 or 2025.
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023.
- You have an interest in a wide range of legal subjects, including licensing, litigation, privacy, copyright, and legal and business trends impacting the music, podcast, audiobook and digital streaming industries.
- You are proficient in English, both orally and in writing.
- You have excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have great written and oral communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.
- You will have first rate interpersonal skills with clients, business partners and colleagues alike.

- Where in the world? For this role, you must be based in the UK.
- We are flexible on schedules but for this role, you will be expected to work from our London office at least 1-2 days per week.
- Working hours? The role is full time, operating within the Central European and GMT/BST time zones.
