MORE ROADWORKS! - Fed up of roadworks and want to get involved in making the flow of traffic better? Want your journey to be quicker and influence what happens on the roads and when? Do you have Network Coordination experience? No experience but want to get involved?
About the role
In this role you will provide network coordination services for road and streets works, events planning and proposed works across the County, working in a geographical area advising works promoters, inspecting sites and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
You will be managing Officers and Assistant Officers involved in the inspection of live works on the network.
You will have a leading role in ensuring that live sites on the network are inspected against the expectations of national legislation, permit conditions and health and safety guidance, are completed in a timely manner and not overstaying on the network, identifying breaches and issuing appropriate fines.
