Job description
About TradingHub
Founded in 2010, we have grown a united vision shared between two people to a team of over 140 across London, Toronto, New York and Hong Kong. We have achieved scale by building the best-in-class surveillance tooling, offering market-leading trade data analysis in the following areas: Market Abuse; Operational Risk; Best Execution and Anti Money Laundering. Our customers are made up of Leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, commodity houses, and brokerage firms (collectively representing over 20 trillion dollars of AUM).
Though we have developed in the trade surveillance arena we have always been more than that. At heart, we are a finance-focused big data firm. Our goal is to continue creating the world’s leading financial markets analytics platform.
The Role
This role will sit in our Customer Implementation team. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring new customers synchronise to our software platform without issue. Initial training will involve bringing you up to speed on our products, teaching you our internal systems language, and making sure that you have all other necessary technical expertise. However, we take a “learn by doing” approach where, as soon as possible, you will be assigned real tasks that will allow you to add value to the team.
Every day is different but previous interns have enjoyed a complete variation of responsibilities, all of which make a real difference to improving our processes in some way. The focus would largely centre around looking for ways in which to automate processes and solve complex project issues alongside a very supportive team.
The team you would sit in are customer facing so, whilst you would not have the pressures of dealing directly with customers, your work would go a long way in helping us improve their usage of our tools. You would also be at the precipice of financial markets and products, so you would build your knowledge of our products’ impact in this context, and generally you’d learn about the more high level common financial markets topics.
