The Role: Summer Internship 2023

The Location: London, United Kingdom

The Team: The Professional Services Group is responsible for implementing our products & services in a timely and efficient way to our new and existing clients. This includes Fixed Income, Equities and Muni’s. The team also works on high profile internal projects such as moving our in-house products to the AWS platform. The team is based in the UK, US & India and we pride ourselves on the work we deliver to clients and the revenue we generate.

The Impact: Beyond the client’s exposure to the sales team, the Professional Services are the first real exposure the client will have to the company and our products. It’s essential we provide a first-rate service as this can set the tone for the relationship we have with the client. Through our successful deployments, we generate large amounts of revenue for the company and the client is then more likely to purchase further services from us. Our products really do transform the way our clients perform their business. The role touches many other areas of the business internally and enables us to drive internal changes to improve our implementation workflows.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities & exposure during your internship will be to some or all of the below.
Exposure to the implementation/project lifecycle following the standard set of steps, in a timely and efficient manner.
Being involved in various stages of a project from pre-sales through completion of onboarding a client, post-go-live support in the days, weeks or sometimes months following go-live.
Ensuring that all relevant internal stakeholders are kept informed of the progress of projects and any delays that might occur and what is being done to resolve them.
Creation and maintenance of best practices for organizational processes.
Documentation of client implementation runbooks.
Preparing the Lessons Learned report and defining any follow-on action recommendations required.
Maintaining relationships with various client personas throughout the course of the project, including key stakeholders, project managers, project team members, technical personnel, users, etc.
You will be assisting customers with integration activities, using methods such as APIs, Web Services, Data Feeds, MQ & etc.

What We’re Looking For:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills Will be dealing with a variety of different people at all levels (both internal and external).
Ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders – Good written, oral communication & presentation skills are essential.
Strong time management skills with good organizational skills.
Must be able to learn new products and be able to understand the functional and technical aspects of the systems
Possess a collaborative work ethic within a cross-functional environment
Passionate about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and highly focused on implementations and project delivery.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision

UK Eligibility
We’re looking for students in their penultimate year students who are working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent), and due to complete their studies and be available for a full-time role commencing in 2024.
