Monkhouse prides itself on getting children back to school in uniform that gives them the confidence to start their academic year and you will play a pivotal role in making this happen by supporting our valued customers through our busiest period of the year June to September.

Your Commitment to our Team
As a Customer Service Advisor, you are an integral part of our Customer Services team and will help us to support customers and uphold a great level of service!
Day-to-day, you will help us to answer inbound telephone calls, process orders, answer queries, and problem solve customer complaints.
Your Responsibilities
- Action inbound orders, queries, and complaints via telephone & email.
- Be the first-in-line to receive queries and orders from customers via telephone & email
- Discuss customers' order requirements and seek opportunities to cross-sell products.
- Conduct office based administrative duties.
Skill Set As a Customer Service advisor
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers and a great telephone manner.
- Be able to demonstrate planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload with flexibility.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Work using your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Work calmly under pressure.
- Be able to handle complaints.
What are my hours? Our contracts range from 16 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week and our seasonal shifts are Monday to Friday. (with occasion weekend work including bank holiday).
When can I start? Our peak season starts from June through to mid-September so you can start anytime from June onwards, finishing beginning/mid-September.
What's my location? We are located in Altrincham with good public transport links.
Holidays: Your holiday entitlement is pro-rated to your hours of work and pro-rated to your term of employment. These accrued hours will be paid at the end of your contract.
