Summer Conference Assistant (Fixed Term)
In preparation for summer residential conferences, language schools and courses, we are looking for a Conference Assistant to join the team over the busy period.
Throughout the last three years, the University has hosted successful courses for key workers. Support is required for this continuing business as well as the return of regular groups such as academic conferences, associations, and language schools.
We are looking for a Conference Assistant to act as the first point of contact for guests, help with setup, administration, registrations, and operational support for events, such as guiding speakers on how to use audio visual equipment in lecture and seminar rooms.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing excellent customer service, highly organised and have a problem-solving pro-active approach. Experience of event planning is an advantage.
Hours will be an average of 35 hours per week to include weekends and evenings.
