Job Description:Summer 2023 Internship - People Team
This role is Hybrid, based in the Dow Jones office in London.
About the Role:
Ever wondered what really goes on in an HR function? Are things really done differently in different countries within Europe, Middle East and Africa? Want to work in a fast-paced multinational environment?
Reporting to the People Manager, EMEA, you will be exposed to various areas of the HR function and have the opportunity to support the overall employee life cycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized person to gain an introduction to the world of HR. You won’t be making tea, but instead for 10 weeks, you will be an integral part of the EMEA People team and will get to learn about our company from the people up.
You Will:
- Perform HR audits
- Assist the recruitment and onboarding process
- Update our HR systems: help optimizing our current processes
- Support the HR team on the overall employee life cycle
- Support the People Team by performing key administrative duties
- Be able to work full time from July 3rd to September 8th 2023
You Have:
- Completed several years of school and are an undergraduate student
- A genuine desire to start your career in HR
- Sound judgment and professionalism as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritize and deliver
