Cheektowaga Union Free School District is seeking both certified and non-certified teachers in all subject areas and grade levels. The mission of the CSUFSD is to provide a positive, safe environment that encourages ALL learners to strive for excellence. We are a District with approximately 1200 students (PK-Grade 12) who learn in our elementary schools (PK-Grade 2 and Grade 3-5), our middle school (Grades 6-8), and our high school (9-12). This is a great opportunity for certified teachers to gain experience in the classroom setting through their work with a diverse population while implementing instructional strategies and restorative practices to support academic and socio-emotional needs. Our community, Board of Education, teachers, staff and administration create a positive learning environment that allows all students to succeed!

Certified applicants:

• Must possess a NYS teaching certification
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education
• Attach a resume, letters of recommendation, and a Substitute Teacher Application
• Certified applicants will be paid at a rate of $125.00/day, with an increase to $135.00/day after 30 days of service

Non-certified applicants:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience working with school-aged children
• Attach a resume, letters of recommendation, and a Substitute Teacher Application
• Non-certified applicants will be paid at a rate of $125.00/day and can work a maximum of 40 days.
