Job description
We’re looking for a Sub Agent to join our Kier Utilities team on projects within the Eastern Power Network area on UK Power Network sites, responsible for the management of the site of an civil and infrastructure nature, to achieve the highest standard of project delivery to our customers.
Location: Sites in and around the Eastern Power Network - such as Cambridge, Essex, Bury St Edmonds, North London
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Salary: Up to £55k doe + Company Car / Allowance
Responsibilities
As a Sub Agent, you’ll be working within the Utilities team, supporting our UK Power Network Alliance in delivering deep underground power cables, overhead lines and substation infrastructure projects across the Power Networks regions. Project values typically range from £500k to £10m.
Your day to day will include:
Supporting the Project Manager and enforcing high standards across the board on site(s) to maintain safe and effective delivery
Placing safety at the heart of everything you do and checking all CPP, RAMS, SSoW and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs) are fully understood
Ensures that all work meets the additional UKPN-specific H&S requirements of HSS 01 058
What are we looking for?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if have:
Operational and commercial awareness within the civil infrastructure or utilities environment
Proven experience in a similar Site based role
Working knowledge of the NEC 3 Form of Contract
