Based in the beautiful English Heritage site of Darley Abbey in Derby, a rare opportunity has arisen for a studio photographer to join our award winning studio which has been established since 2012.
We're an exciting, fun and creative, theatrical studio that creates timeless portraits of families, pets and children.

The role:
Are you a people-person with a passion for photography? Look no further, because we are still on the search for the perfect fit for our warm and friendly photography team! Our most popular types of shoots involve families, pets, babies, and children, so we need someone who can capture the magic in those tender moments. We believe that setting the scene is just as important as capturing the shot, which is why we're seeking a photographer with a keen eye for detail and an affinity for theatrics. But it's not just about taking the perfect photo - we want someone who can take our customers on a journey from start to finish. If you're ready to greet, book, and wow our customers with exceptional service and unforgettable photos, then we want you on our team!
Essential:
Photography degree BA (hons) or relevant experience (at least 1 year in a portrait studio environment)
Who we are looking for:

Great in working with children, adults and pets alike
Love theatre, Marvel comics and Harry Potter (though not essential, but may be a bonus) Work well in a team

We have a full training programme, however photography is an essential requirement to join our team as knowledge of lighting and technical equipment will be required. A fun and can-do attitude is a must!
Salary: £18k - £24k, private pension, work outings and salary reviews pendant on experience
Hours: Please note weekend work is a requirement for this role.
