Loft Studios is a photography/filming dry hire studio complex in White City/Kensal Green. Situated in a converted Victorian factory, with 7 fully serviced studios, 3 suites, camera and lighting department, and catering kitchen. Our clients include some of the best fashion, commercial, production companies and agencies within the industry. Additional to offering unique studio spaces, we provide in-house lighting and camera hire, catering, set-build and props.
The Floor Manager’s priority is to ensure the studio floor is running effectively and our clients needs are catered for in a professional and efficient manner. This entails client liaison whilst simultaneously working with the varying internal departments and studio assistants to guarantee our clients’ needs are met. No one day is ever the same and it is the responsibility of the Floor Manager to adapt to varying situations and problem-solve when necessary. It is a position that requires strong interpersonal, client-facing, delegation, organisation and communication skills.
You will manage a team of studio assistants who provide support and care to our clients, as well as clean and maintain the studios throughout the day. You will lead by example and provide the assistants with daily tasks, client requests, maintenance tasks and evening turnover plans.
It will be the responsibility of the Studio Manager to ensure that all services including equipment, catering and set-build are met to the requirements as set out by production while maintaining the highest standards.
This is a full-time role, 5 days, 45 hours per week, and you will be expected to be available on some weekends (lieu days given) and for overtime when required.
Duties include:
- Ensuring studios run at the highest standards at all times
- Client face throughout the day
- Supervise studio assistants, cleaners and prioritise their tasks
- Work alongside our production team and operations to help deliver client requests
- Train all new studio assistants to work at the highest level
- Conduct studio assistant appraisals
- Conduct frequent rounds of studios to make sure standards are being upheld
- Oversee clients catering
- Create lists for the studio maintenance and refurbishment
- Liaise with our in-house equipment rental department

Salary: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
