Big Sky Studios are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic new Studio Manager to join the Studio team. You will be joining a fast-paced and exciting working environment. We are looking for an individual wanting to further their career in production or management and develop relationships with a broad range of clientele. Ideally, you will be a proactive self-starter who is highly organised and flexible, a strong communicator and works well in a very busy environment with demanding clients. A candidate will be eager to grow to be a key member of the company. You will treat the studio as your own working towards maintaining and improving various areas such as site and services.
The Studio Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management and smooth running of the studios. As a first point of contact for the team, you will inspire, motivate and drive the Studio Assistants, ensuring they all understand their responsibilities and expectations. Supporting the Studio team on the shop floor is vital to ensure client’s experience and service requests are handled in a courteous and efficient manner. You will take pride in maintaining high standards across each studio in the Big Sky’s portfolio. A passion for people management and their development is essential to lead the team into success.
Reporting to the Studio Development and Operations Managers, the Studio Manager will coordinate the day to day running of our 14 studios and spaces. Our 4,348 sqm campus on Brewery Road houses 10 fully-equipped photographic studios and a Panoramic Rooftop Studio, as well as our photographic services, which also support our stand-alone studios: Omega Place in King’s Cross and Hows Street in Hoxton.
Effective communication with each department in the business is key to bring together all the elements that go towards making a successful shoot. In this client-facing position, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to cultivate strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and grow the reputation of the company.
