Studio Manager and Video Producer
Reports to: Creative Lead, Corporate Affairs
Location: London Paddington
Role purpose:
This role is a key contributor to the success of Vodafone’s reputation through compelling storytelling with excellence in content creation. Content should be tailored to reflect the intended audience and the distribution channel for the content – right content, right audience, right channel. Content should wherever possible have multi-purpose use both internally and externally but should also be audience specific, i.e. employees only where appropriate.
Content may include filmed interviews and speeches, video, animations, podcast and audio recordings, corporate comms, social media campaigns, and multicamera events and streaming. The role is responsible for studio shoots, post-production editing, and live-stream and event videos.
Vodafone has successfully built an inhouse studio facility and we require continued support to manage the rollout, development and uptake of this facility, and to advise on future support required as needed.
The candidate will work with the Creative Lead to manage the studio and production schedules through the day to day running of our inhouse studio facility including managing bookings, managing camera kit, AV equipment, IT systems and facilities in the studio and should be up to date on the available technology. The candidate will also manage the maintenance and facilities relationships to keep the Studio in top condition.
They will also be required to support post-production through editing and subtitling videos, and ensuring assets are delivered and stored appropriately and that all licenses and release forms are in place as required. They should also have a good understanding of social media channels, and creating content for engagement.
The candidate must have experience of working with multiple stakeholders and with senior teams. They should be able to perform under pressure and have a keen eye for detail. The role requires close collaboration with other members of the content and creative design team (including a social media and video producer), the channels team, the wider Corporate Affairs team, the IT team, as well as with other functions as required.
This role will also support strategic Exco communications across a broad range of topics, key internal all employee moments.
The candidate should be highly organised, good at prioritising, personable, detail focused and willing to assist in all aspects of Production. You will be working in a busy environment and must be able to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines
.

Support and manage all visual content as required, working with Creative Lead, Content and Channels team and wider teams, ensure industry leading output is delivered- Manage the day to day running of the
- studio facility and facilitate multiple bookings per week
- Deliver best in class content within required timeframes for multiple channels
- Take a keen interest in content / creative performance metrics, and seek to test/improve/experiment to constantly improve output challenging stakeholders to take risks, try something new, or revisit a brief
Apply if you have:
Proven expertise in videography and editing- Good knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects and full Adobe Suite and other industry-standard tools
- Technical knowledge of video equipment, including, but not limited to, DSLR and video cameras, studio and location lighting, autocue systems and microphones.
- Highly collaborative able to work across functions, levels, cultures and markets
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Degree level or equivalent qualification in video production or management- Exceptional communication skills
