Who are Vintage Threads?
Founded in 2016, Vintage Threads are one of Europe’s leading vintage retailers operating across both online and physical stores. Every piece that we sell has been handpicked from around the world and we typically sell a highly curated selection of both designer and sportswear from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. The VT Rework department of the business is a massively evolving space and our goal is to carry on reducing the waste produced by the fashion industry by reworking damaged items to create some truly unique pieces.
We have a full time concession in Selfridges Oxford Street and our flag ship store in Covent Garden.
Our team is full of young energetic and ambitious people who are truly passionate about vintage and the story we are trying to create through the items we source and produce and we would love whoever fills this position to share this passion.
What Is The Role?
You will be assisting in the day to day running of the business. From shooting restocks, packing parcels, helping quality check clothes, manage our database and ensure all shops are fully stocked every day.
Someone who has experience in the vintage industry or studio environment is crucial.
We are constantly creating new content, so people who can get involved in this will be hugely beneficial to your application.
The essential skills you need for the role :
- Written and spoken English language
- Worked with a digital camera
- Retail experience
- Passion for vintage
- Shopify experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge on Microsoft Excel
- Hard working and a positive attitude. We have a very fast paced working environment, it's essential you are someone who is proactive and self motivated.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £9.00-£10.50 per hour

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
