Loft Studios London requires a full-time studio assistant to work in our busy photographic and filming studio complex.
The successful applicant must enjoy the challenge of working in a busy studio environment, be self motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be fully prepared to work long hours and be able to keep a cool head in high pressure situations.
It’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy studio environment, and suitable for those who wish to become a photography or production assistant as a next step.
Tasks within this role will include: liaising with photographers, running equipment to the studios from the warehouse, painting coves, cleaning, maintaining studio’s, and taking breakfast and lunches to the studios.
You will be required to work 4 days per week / 40 hours (plus overtime), including some weekends.
Routine Duties:
- Meet and great clients in the morning and take them to their studio
- Organise clients parking and help them with their bags
- Deliver catering to the studios throughout the day
- Make tea/coffee for clients
- Replenish mini-bar stock
- Shuttle equipment from the warehouse to the studio
- Studio checks throughout the day
- Keep the studio clean and tidy throughout the day
- Wash up mugs and glasses in studios
- Trouble shoot clients requests throughout the day
- Paint the cove at the end of the day
- Clean the studio at the end of the day
- Help other assistants with their tasks where needed
- Report maintenance issues to the studio manager
- Work on small maintenance tasks
- Complete studio checklist during the day
- Report to Studio Manager throughout the day
