100% Digital is an established photography studio in East London, which specialises in content for fashion retailers.
We are looking for a Studio Assistant to help with the day-to-day operations of the studio. Applicants should have an interest in photography and a desire for a career in fashion or still-life photography. The successful applicant will be determined, focused, organised, practical and energetic. This position will be perfect for a new graduate looking for a stepping stone into the photography industry.
Main Duties:
- Arrive at the studio at 8 am daily to organise the studio
- Prepare and steam garments ready for shooting
- Pack away garments and arrange couriers to clients
- Purchase replacement equipment and consumables
- Assist the studio manager with their responsibilities
- Book clients in & manage the calendar
- Answer phones and reply to administrative emails
- Assist in the production of shoots
- Look after clients when they attend the studios
- Start initiatives to ensure the smooth running of the studio
- General maintenance including painting and basic repairs
- General shopping, cleaning and tea-making for clients

- Superb verbal and written communication
- Proven ability to work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong need to keep things orderly and tidy
- Appreciation of fashion photography and its importance to e-commerce
- Experience with photographic equipment and photoshop
- Ability to use their own initiative in identifying problems
- Strong Mac skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Working hours: 8 am - 4 pm
1-hour break
Salary: £19,000 per year
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London E3 2PA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
