We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Studio Assistant. As a Studio Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing bookings, and ensuring that our busy pottery studio is clean, organized, and inviting.
Responsibilities:
- Host and provide exceptional customer service to customers and large bookings such as Hen parties and Birthday parties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio and workshop spaces.
- Handle cash and payments in a professional manner.
- Manage bookings and correspond with customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize social media and technology to promote the studio and attract new customers.
- Refill shelves with paints and other supplies as needed.
- Work well independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient operations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and receive training as required.
- Ability to download rota apps for time keeping and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with teams.
- Enthusiasm for the job and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Artistic experience a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-16 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
