Department Summary

Hogarth's end to end production company offering incorporates a team of specialist producers that are dedicated to delivering creative excellence across both film and content. We offer end to end post which includes edit, audio, animation and grade. We can work on any briefs from any clients from case studies, pitch, mood and sizzle films all the way to broadcast TV commercials.

What does a Studio Assistant do at Hogarth?

The role of the Studio Assistant will involve day to day assisting the studio team, client/product services and product/props inventory. You will focus on building relationships internally, providing best-in-class service to clients, assisting the production team and ensuring that all product/props are categorised and stored appropriately.

  • Day to Day product & sample management and running, including greeting clients, showing them to studios and offering refreshments at regular intervals
  • Provide high-end service to clients, making sure they feel well looked after throughout their time at Hogarth Studios
  • Make sure that all product received is in mint condition and flag to the appropriate producer if otherwise
  • Ensure all product is prepped for the shoots the day before, according to the briefs you've been given by the production team
  • Clear down studios of all product and store them appropriately at the end of the shoot day
  • Ensure the studio space is always kept tidy & clean at all times
  • Assist Production team where required, creating call sheets, ordering couriers, assisting with finances, creating vendors etc.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Operations Team, and also Production Team
  • Develop long lasting and trusted relationships with the clients and Hogarth colleagues
  • Perform runs to pick up missing product / props where necessary

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports to the Studio Manager.

You will work closely with multiple key stakeholders with the Hogarth Studios network.

Requirements

  • Interest or experience within a creative studio
  • Enthusiastic with desire to develop their career within Studio/Advertising/Content
  • Basic knowledge of primary production and post production workflows, or an interest to learn
  • Strong client-facing interpersonal skills
  • Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels
  • Have a can do attitude, no matter what task is given
  • Fantastic organisational skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues within the studio space, and help develop solutions
  • Pro-active
