The Student Wellbeing Centre offers support, advice or guidance with any challenges or difficulties students may face during their academic studies. Our support to students includes assisting with concerns around disability, specific learning differences, mental health or medical conditions, as well as anything which may cause emotional or psychological distress. We help to support students throughout their time at University, in addition to supporting them as they transition into University life.
Our successful candidate will coordinate first tier wellbeing support, to ensure that all students have appropriate advice and guidance (to include low level interventions or referrals), onwards to second tier support, ensuring that our students’ emotional wellbeing is at the forefront of our work. They will also design and deliver promotional material to help raise awareness of key themes, support our Welcome Week strategy and deliver key workshops throughout the year.
