An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Support Tutor (Education) to join our Student Support Team based out of our Edinburgh campus, within SRUC’s Central Faculty, supporting students currently studying at a number of locations across central Scotland. The role will involve providing a high-quality proactive and, when required, reactive student education support service to both taught students and research students (including current and prospective students, as applicable). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of SRUC’s wider student support teams (across the 5 main SRUC Education campuses) to further develop our support provision for our students.
We are seeking a candidate with experience of needs assessing and supporting students with education support needs, preferably in a tertiary education setting. Experience of working with, and positively impacting on, students with SpLDs, additional support needs, mental health issues and other disabilities is also essential.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a degree level qualification in a relevant subject and/or a relevant professional qualification.
