Please note, this role can be based out of any of our main Store Support Centre's & Home - Milton Keynes, Coventry, Holborn or Manchester.
As the Retail Administrator and Centre Services Analyst you will proactively provide support to the Regional Managers, Stores, Regional Argos Directors through highly effective planning, organising and communication. You will build and maintain relationships with the Area Manager, Stores, Regional Argos Directors, and key stakeholders of the Area Manager.
You’ll deliver insightful analysis which effectively drives performance improvement across the stores network, in order to support the field team in making decisions on their Areas and Regions. As part of the role, you will support the Retail Admin team and field team in simplifying and automating reporting that are currently undertaken by the team as well as supporting this process with future requests. You must also be able to communicate effectively across a diverse stakeholder group ensuring that analysis is easily understood and can be acted upon.

- React to requests for ad-hoc analysis in a timely manner ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed and met
- Ensure confidential information remains protected
- Produce accurate and timely Excel reports / PowerPoint packs on essential areas of the business for Regional Argos Directors and Area Managers
- Constantly review and develop solutions to improve processes within the team that will help deliver greater efficiencies and insight for the Area Managers, stores, and senior retail field team, ensuring all Areas are aligned where possible
- Support field and head office teams with the collation of data from stores ensuring that deadlines are met, and information is accurate
- Team-sites – Maintain and support with the upkeep of the Areas and Admin Centres team-sites so that they can be used as an effective communication and data source for the Areas and your team
- Effectively communicate using all the available communication channels with a can do, efficient attitude, maintaining professional credibility at all times. Feed in to, and facilitate, the company and regional communications strategies
More about you
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of producing analysis which provides insight and comes to clear and well thought out conclusions, as well as generating ideas and making recommendations
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication
- Organised with ability to plan and prioritise workload, work under pressure and be confident and articulate whilst remaining resilient
- Able to simplify complexity, driving continuous improvement in self, team, and stakeholders
- Experience in managing a network of stakeholders with ability to deliver results
- Strong team player and ability to take personal ownership for tasks
- Some knowledge of Business Objects, Essbase, Visual Basic, SQL is desirable
