We’re also looking to grow our regional presence in areas like Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.

The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the in-house recruitment team at EY, finding future talent that will enable us to grow as a business. You’ll join a multi award winning team, responsible for engaging, sourcing, and attracting the best and most diverse candidates to our school, work experience and graduate programmes across the UK.


We are looking for someone who can manage relationships with schools and universities, at the highest level, and foster best in class relationships. You’ll also plan how we can engage a diverse talent pool; we want to give everybody that first start. You will also be involved in planning and running innovative candidate engagement events, at scale, alongside delivering on internal projects within the team, to make EY stand out from the crowd.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll contribute to the achievement of Student Recruitment hiring targets by Partnering with university/ early careers officials to build brand awareness and promote EY as a top employer of early career talent. through. You’ll deliver bold events strategies, planning and executing innovative bespoke events, whilst ensuring we see a clear ROI, to ensure a great candidate experience. You’ll also engage with candidates through our social media channels and professional career groups. In addition to the above, you’ll provide clear and meaningful MI, to help manage our pipeline and shape future strategy.


We operate a hybrid model, you will need to spend time in the office, and you will also spend a lot of time at Student events. Ideally, you’ll be based in Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.


Skills and attributes for success

First and foremost, you’ll have a real passion for student recruitment, with innovative ideas for events that will create a big impact. You’ll also have the same passion for using data to produce MI that shapes future success.


To qualify for the role you must have all or some of the following

  • A passion for student recruitment, with prior experience in recruitment marketing and student campaigns
  • Previous experience in a large organisation in a high-volume campaigns role or delivering across scale and regional complexity
  • Experience in event management and delivery
  • Strong data kills with the ability to spot anomalies and tell stories with that data; you should be confident using Excel
  • Relationship building skills – with the ability to challenge where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience of either schools or university recruitment (ideally both)
  • Proven track record of executing volume recruitment
  • Experience of public speaking/ delivering workshops to students
  • An understanding of Undergraduate and schools work experience programmes
  • Experience of managing campaigns for multiple positions and building candidate pipelines
  • Social media knowledge and experience
  • Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs
