We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic person to join the Department of Urban Studies and Planning as a Student Experience Officer. Based within our Learning & Teaching team, this new role provides an opportunity for someone with previous experience to support a number of areas central to the delivery of an excellent student experience to all of our undergraduate and postgraduate taught students. Working closely with other members of the team, this role has particular focus on providing support for student attendance and engagement monitoring, student welfare support and personal tutoring organisation, along with supporting students with enquiries relating to extensions for assessments and extenuating circumstances.
You will possess a good standard of education, have excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to team working.
We are looking for a person with excellent administrative skills and experience of providing information, advice or support in a professional setting, ideally within a University, and as such excellent communication skills are important to this role.
