We're recruiting an experienced Administration Assistant who is friendly, adaptable and can confidently manage general administrative duties for 14Forty on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. You'll be responsible for ensuring our offices run smoothly and efficiently and will be given every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.
More about the role:Temporary vacancy – 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday – 5 hours per day)
Overall Purpose of the Role
Based at Essar Oil Refinery, Ellesmere Port. Duties will include a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day Administration needs associated with a busy Management and Project Office.
Duties include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the contract operational teams
- Answer the telephone and deal with calls in a polite and professional manner.
- To maintain a comprehensive filing system both digital and physical
- To support in producing reports and presentations on request
- Operation administration support for Health and Safety Manager including overseeing all fleet hired vehicles (booking services / MOT’S, arranging repairs etc) and support with all H&S tasks (inputting of data from site visits, pre-tasks briefs ad other H&S related tasks)
- Any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role
Our ideal Administration Assistant will:
- Have a good understanding of structured administration duties.
- Experience of working in a similar role.
- Will have skills that enable effective communication both written and verbal with colleagues, suppliers, and business partners.
- Must be conversant in IT and computer systems.
- Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in the use of Word and Excel IT tools
- Be self-motivated and able to prioritise and to meet tight deadlines
