We are looking for a committed and inspirational standout colleague to be our Student Experience Diversity and Inclusion Officer (Ambition Scholars and Belonging).

Are you passionate about supporting students and ensuring they have the best experience and outcomes? Can you establish rapport and build robust and effective working relationships, creating partnerships to achieve shared goals? If so, you may be the ideal candidate for our role. A priority for us is to represent the diversity of our student body within our teams, and we are keen to receive applicants with diverse lived experiences.
You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the element of The Law Family Ambition Programme that supports Ambition Programme scholars through transition into The University of Sheffield, helping to create and sustain a sense of belonging for these students. Working alongside teams across the University, you will deliver a programme of activity that supports and develops our students to achieve their full potential.

You will play an integral role in welcoming and developing a growing community of belonging through integration projects, widening participation initiatives and inclusion events. Our activity includes:

  • The Believe, No Belief and Religious Life Centre
  • Global Campus
  • Lived experiences community programmes
  • Race Equality and Sexual Consent Awareness sessions
  • Sheffield Mentors
  • Welcome and Induction Network
