We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised administrator to join our Student Experience Team, supporting the Year 3 area of our MBChB Programme (the undergraduate medical course). You will be a member of and will contribute to the Student Experience Team, all of whom are involved in supporting the learning and teaching interests of the School of Medicine and working to provide the best possible student experience.
About the Role
This role is an integral part of the School of Medicine¿s Student Experience Team, providing administrative support for a specific part of curriculum delivery ¿ support for the third year of the MBChB programme. The role involves careful coordination of curriculum activities, as third year students complete 7 different rotations in NHS sites (primary and secondary care), in addition to 7 academic weeks (which are largely campus based) during the year. The role reports to the Curriculum Team Leader, as well as working directly with the Director and Deputy Director of Year 3 (clinical roles).
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment and providing effective and efficient administrative support. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work accurately and effectively with large amounts of data. Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex processes and procedures is key.
You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language. Excellent IT skills (particularly in Microsoft Office), is essential.
